Definitely, when we talk about golf, the number one option is always Casa de Campo, the hub of The Sporting Life… and here is the evidence! On Saturday June 21st, the Dominican Republic Navy will be at the prestigious golf course Dye Fore in Casa de Campo hosting their 4th annual edition of the “Armada de República Dominicana” golf tournament.
The tournament is part of a program of activities being undertaken by the Asociación de Esposas de Oficiales (officer’s wives association), in order to raise funds for the realization of social works for the benefit of the members of the institution and their families, with the support of the Dominican Navy. This year’s event will also celebrate the 170th anniversary of Dominican Navy.
The event will involve invited golfers, who in an environment of a sporting harmony- aka The Sporting Life -will compete for several awards in various categories of the events, which will be held with the support and collaboration of businessmen and commercial institutions of the Dominican Republic, who traditionally support such charitables activities.
The welcome cocktail with all participants will be on Thursday night June 19th at the Club Naval belonging to the institution, located in Sans Souci, Santo Domingo, where participants will have the opportunity to strengthen the friendship and brotherhood bonds, and they will also receive their tournament kits.
4th Armada de República Dominicana golf tournament press conference
The 4th Armada de República Dominicana golf tournament was announced in a press conference on Wednesday June 4th at the Officer Club Naval, an occasion headed by Vice Admiral Edwin Rafael Dominici Rosario, Navy General Commander, alongside a technicians team, who recognise the importance of this sporting event, which contributes to improve the quality of life of it’s institution members.

The third version of the golf tournament “Copa Marina de Guerra” was a complete success. The event was held last Saturday June 22nd at the prestigious golf course Dye Fore in Casa de Campo and was organized by the Asociación de Esposas de Oficiales (Officer’s Wife’s Association), supported by the Dominican Federation of Golf (FEDOGOLF).
