Cafe de la Leche Casa de Campo

This post is also available in: Spanish

What time is it? Café de la Leche time! The next Café de la Leche celebration will be held on Friday the 7th of February at the Villa Collection – Dedon store in the Marina Casa de Campo.

The Villa Collection – Dedon store is centrally located in the Marina Casa de Campo, in the ‘Calle Barlovento’ street, behind the main restaurant area, and is where on Friday the 7th of February, Casa de Campo’s lovely ladies will be found having a nice early afternoon cocktail in the name of a good cause.

The Café de la Leche celebrated every month and hosted by a different member or business of the Casa de Campo community, is celebrated to collect milk (and/or funds) for the Hogar del Niño – and more specifically their crib room “la sala cuna”, where more than 200 babies are cared for, and where First Lady of the Dominican Republic, Candida Montilla de Medina, was recently charmed by the little ones!

Candida Montilla de Medina visited the Hogar del Niño on 3 Kings Days to not only get to know the facilities, but also to give out toys, click here for photos and the full story.

We look forward to seeing you all on Friday the 7th of February, when you’ll be treated to some delicious snacks and cocktails from Dedon – in one of Casa de Campo’s most beautiful locations – the Marina Casa de Campo!

Save the date! Another upcoming event is the Hogar del Niño’s 17th annual fundraising weekend on the 14th and 15th of February, click here for more details.

About the Café de la Leche

The Cafe de la Leche is a monthly charitable event, a little like a coffee or a tea party held for the ladies of Casa de Campo (although men are occasionally invited) and usually takes place on the first Friday of the month, hosted by a member of the Casa de Campo villa at her Casa de Campo villa or occasionally restaurant/business.
