El Hogar del Niño is a blessed institution, making a real difference thanks to countless contributions and support, which they receive from celebrities (such as Pitbull) as well as from the greater Casa de Campo community.
Last Monday the 6th of January, the Hogar del Niño was very grateful to receive a very important visitor – the First Lady of Dominican Republic Candida Montilla de Medina, who visited to not only visit the facilities, but also to give out toys to the children on 3 Kings Day.
The little ones were excited, happy and grateful for the presence of the distinguished First Lady, who arrived with an assortment of toys such as bicycles, dolls, cars, balls and bats.
During her visit Mrs. Candida Montilla de Medina enjoyed a tour around the entire daycare and educational center in La Romana. In addition she also posed for photos with the children and the directors and founders of the Hogar del Niño; Xiomarita Matos and Xiomara Menendez.
The excitement of the children’s waiting for their gifts
