As you’re well aware, this weekend’s Altos de Chavón Fall Fest is one you do not want to miss! With an array of activities planned for Dueños 2016 and Halloween on Friday and Saturday, we want you to stick around Casa de Campo on Sunday for Chavón’s first-ever fall festival. Already lined up are several FREE events for the kids like inflatable games, face-painting, arts & crafts workshops and trick-or-treat, and we’re rolling out more things to do all through the week. Many vendors will set up shop in the stone city in an outdoor bazaar, and a very important one is Costa Farms. The family-owned business that stretches from North Carolina to South Florida and the Dominican Republic, operates with the biggest retailers selling indoor and outdoor plants.
What does this mean for you? It means that you’ll be able to view their Fall and Christmas plant collections and get inspired for the holiday season right from your backyard. With two booths, they’ll display Fall color styles incoprorating lots of yellow and orange from Aglaonemas, Croton, Moms, Purple Grass, Bird of Paradise, Canción de la India and Dracaenas. As well as Poinsettias, Pines, Christmas cactus Gardens and Air Plants in another booth ideal for Christmas decorations.
This is the first year Costa Farms will be putting up a display in Casa de Campo, but if you didn’t know already, they provide gorgeous landscaping services! As Poinsettias and Pines are the most popular plants purchased at this time of the year, we recommend getting yours in advance! Growing them all year long to prepare for Christmas, Costa Farms tells Casa de Campo Living some varieties start turning red since October. Purchasing now or putting in an order ahead of time means you won’t have to worry they’ll be out of stock during the high demand. They produce more than 50,000 plants for local sale and export, delivering to supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, and nurseries. View their spectacular plant selection this Sunday at Fall Fest and walk away with a beautiful display! Their interactive set up will also allow visitors to learn about the plants, take pictures in their photo booth, buy and/ or reserve an order or even a service.
