As part of the celebrations surrounding the 1st annual “Race to Kazakhstan” golf tournament, Dr. Claudio Silvestri, president and CEO of Casa de Campo, hosted a dinner-party for the tournaments participants and special guests of the Casa de Campo community.This worldwide golf tournament, which will also be played across Europe and Kazakhstan in the coming months was organized by the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Dominican Republic, Attilio Perna and Honorary Consul of Dominican Republic in Republic of Kazakhstan, Anuarbek Argingazin together with the Golf Federation of Kazakhstan, and was played here in Casa de Campo on the Teeth of the Dog. The group of more than 100 guests enjoyed a champagne cocktail around the pool with its magnificent view of the Teeth of the Dog (hole #8). Among the guests was ….
Also in attendance was the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Dominican Republic, Attilio Perna, who is also a Casa de Campo villa owner, living in the resort full-time. “The event was a success,” he told Casa de Campo Living. “The intention of the event is was to increase awareness and forge a stronger bilateral relationship between the Dominican Republic and Kazakhstan. Among some of the topics discussed among the businessmen present was energy, “which is always at the center of interesting discussions because Kazakhstan is the leading producer of gas and oil”, said Mr Perna, “while in the short term we can expect new clients investing in Real Estate” he added.
From cocktails on the terrace around the candlelit pool, guests dined under the stars on a delicious feast catered by the Beach Club by Le Cirque restaurant. Whilst dining, guests were treated to a magnificent entertainment showcase, by the ENDANZA ballet school, which ended with some participation from the audience, as visitors were invited to join the dancers on stage to experience a little Dominican merengue dancing.
