The second day of the 22-goal Polo Challenge Silver Cup took place on Thursday at Los Establos and Casa de Campo. Teams Cinque Terre and La Potranca made their debut, claiming wins against Sebucan HPA and Casa de Campo, respectively.

Italian patron Alessandro Bazzoni’s team was able to keep the lead throughout the match. However, the match reached a tie during the last chukka, taking the game into overtime. Finally, Cinque Terre was able to score the golden goal and claim a 10-9 win. Both Toccalino brothers were highlighted as players of the match.

Meanwhile, at Casa de Campo, the local team faced La Potranca. Despite Ignacio Novillo Astrada’s injury and replacement with Milo Fernandez Araujo, La Potranca was able to control the game and defeat Casa de Campo; winning 11-8.

On Saturday, a much awaited Charity Polo Cup will take place at Casa de Campo. Some of the best Polo Challenge players will face each other in a thrilling match in aid of the “Fundación MIR” and “Hogar del Niño.” The day will come to a close with special show by the band Los Ilegales, in the after polo area.
