Perhaps most impressive is that this year marks the 7th consecutive year, in which Casa de Campo has been awarded the “World’s Leading Golf Resort”, the 10th consecutive year to be acclaimed as the “Dominican Republic’s Leading Golf Resort” and the 9th consecutive year as the “the Dominican Republic’s Leading Resort”! In addition Casa de Campo has now been awarded the “Caribbean’s Leading Golf Resort” a grand total of 8 times. Hurrah for Casa de Campo!

Looks like the writing’s on the wall… Casa de Campo is the best!

What makes Casa de Campo the World’s Leading Golf Resort?

1. One of the world’s BEST golf courses: The Teeth of the Dog

At the heart of Casa de Campo’s sporting prowess is the Teeth of the Dog golf course – the top golf course in the Dominican Republic and 22nd worldwide – ranked by Golf Digest.

The Teeth of the Dog, as well as being Casa de Campo’s most famous gem – is also it’s oldest asset – the Teeth of the Dog was opened in 1971 by course designer Pete Dye himself – years before the resort had any other facilities.

2. 90 holes of amazing golf

As well as the Teeth of the Dog golf course, Casa de Campo also boasts the breathtaking 27-hole Dye Fore complex, spread along cliffs high above the Chavón River, and The Links in-land course reminiscent of traditional British and Scottish golf courses with a moderately hilly track and several lagoons and lakes.

3. “The Sporting Life”

In addition to Casa de Campo’s magnificent golfing facilities, there is also the La Terraza Tennis Center with 13 courts, the Polo and Equestrian center, the 245 acre Shooting Centre, as well as Minitas Beach – which now offers Windsurfing and Stand Up Paddle Boarding!

4. Excellent service

The Casa de Campo golf department is outstanding. Having been ran by Gilles Gagnon for more than 30 years, who considers Casa de Campo golf his “life”, golfers from all across the world return year after year to participate in the annual golf tournaments.

5. The weather

The weather in Casa de Campo is awesome. Suitable for golfing all year around!

Once again, congratulations to Casa de Campo!
