A White Party to Celebrate Casa de Campo’s 13th Annual Spring Shootout

Rain is no threat to the 13th annual Casa de Campo Spring Shootout! What looked like would fall over the week and weekend steered clear for a truly successful golf tournament. The Spring Shootout started with a welcome dinner at La Casita and ended with a fun “White Dinner Party” and prize-giving ceremony at Lago Restaurant on Saturday, April 22nd.

Following three days of friendly competition, teeing off around Casa de Campo’s 3 Pete Dye designed golf courses: the Teeth of the Dog, Links and the Dye Fore, the international group of players with representatives from around the world came together for a great celebration. The awards dinner marked an occasion for players and friends to enjoy a night of laughter, selfies, music, and great food, many while being dressed head-to-toe in white ensembles. Groups of players reminisced about strong plays made on the green and how they look forward to next year’s event.

Following dinner, Director of Golf Operations Robert Birtel led the prize-giving ceremony alongside the rest of the Casa de Campo golf department, who together handed out prizes to the many tournament winners which posed for pictures. Mr. Giles Gagnon, newly appointed senior golf sales director, also welcomed guests and congratulated everyone who participated. We hope to see everyone return next year!
