On Saturday, June 8, Casa de Campo Resort and Villas commemorated World Yoga Day with a special yoga and meditation session at the stunning Minitas Beach. The event was organized in advance of the annual observance on June 21, creating a serene and picturesque setting for this rejuvenating experience.
Minitas Beach, known for its paradisiacal environment where sand and sea blend harmoniously, provided the perfect backdrop for the event. The session gathered the community for a revitalizing experience that promoted well-being and mindfulness.

Talented trainers Kira Montagu and Jackie Arvelo alternated in leading the participants, encouraging them to explore yoga poses beneficial for health and wellness. The event saw a diverse and enthusiastic turnout, with attendees ranging from children to adults, showcasing yoga’s accessibility and appeal across various ages and skill levels.
Proclaimed by the United Nations, World Yoga Day celebrates the numerous benefits of this ancient practice for physical, mental, and spiritual health. These benefits include increased flexibility, muscle strengthening, stress reduction, and improved cardiovascular health, among others.

Casa de Campo is proud to have been part of this global celebration, offering the community an opportunity to connect with themselves and nature through yoga and meditation.
