The Casa de Campo Resort is gearing up for their first ever food and wine festival- the Casa de Campo Food and Wine Festival 2015, and here we bring you the preliminary details!
The Casa de Campo Food and Wine Festival 2015 will take place from the 21st to the 23rd of August and will unite well-known experts of the food and drink world.
Taking place at the bars and restaurants of the resort, the Casa de Campo Food and Wine Festival 2015 will incorporate lunches, fine dining and brunch, as well as tastings of cocktails, beers and liquors.
“For us it is a great honor to host an event of this kind that will unite prestigious professionals of gastronomy as well as wine,” said Charles Keusters, Casa de Campo director of food and beverages. He also added that with the festival Casa de Campo hopes to highlight and showcase the resorts ample culinary offering.
Ahead of the grand event, in preparation and as a little amuse bouche, Casa de Campo hosted a pre-event to the festival, the “Cena de Cuatro Manos” last Friday the 26th of June. The dinner took place at La Piazzetta in Altos de Chavon with a fine menu presented by Anthony Masas, Casa de Campo’s new executive chef and Erik Malmsten, chef and partner of the Santo Domingo restaurants O.Livia, Trattoría Francesco, Brasserie Julieta and Bar La Posta.
The “Cena de Cuatro Manos” is just one of a number of foodie events Casa de Campo is planning in the lead-up to the Casa de Campo Food and Wine Festival 2015, so stay tuned for the next one!
