Every year Casa de Campo and Costasur Dominicana get involved in baseball fever, by taking part in their own softball league! Let the friendly rivalry commence…The Casa de Campo – Costasur softball championship is a friendly softball league played between the Casa de Campo Hotel and various departments of Costasur Dominicana; Costasur, Ganadería (livestock), Fabricacion (manufacturing) and Guarda Campestre(rural security).
The 2014 edition of the Casa de Campo – Costasur softball championship started on Sunday September 28th when, in addition to winning their first game 5 – 4 against Costasur, Casa de Campo were also awarded their trophy as winners of the 2013 tournament! What a way to start the 2014 championship!
Also congratulations go to Mr. Tomas Rosario, who won the special prize for the pitcher with the best winning record while Mr. Malfre Ramírez took home the special prize for the player wit more triples.
Taking part in the formal inauguration was Sarah Pelegrin Public Relations for Casa de Campo, as well as representatives of the workers union represented by Mártires Guzmán and Nelsy Marmolejo from Human Resources, who as well as proudly receiving the trophy alongside the Casa de Campo team, also got involved in the afternoons games!
Since the opening, the Casa de Campo – Costasur softball championship has gone full steam ahead, with the following wins and losses having already taken place…

September 30th: Casa de Campo 8 – 7 Costasur & Casa de Campo 6 – 9 Costasur
October 8th: Casa de Campo 18 – 7 Ganaderia & Casa de Campo 19 – 9 Ganaderia
Casa de Campo has won 4 out of 5 games… will Casa de Campo once again be crowned the Casa de Campo – Costasur softball champions?
