Carrefour is scheduled to re-open in Altos de Chavón on Saturday the 1st of December – offering Casa de Campo shoppers a superb range of high quality French produce, as well as household items and fine French wines.

The new Carrefour store will be taking over not 1 but SEVERAL spaces in Altos de Chavón; the space previously occupied by the Casamontecristo Cigar Lounge – as well as even more space behind that, including a stone passageway being converted into a wine cellar, as well as the space it held during the “Semana de Francia” in March!
On sale at Carrfour from Dec 1st you will find:
• Household goods; Christmas gifts, homeware items, cleaning products etc
• Beverages; soft drinks, beers, liquors
• Fine wines and champagne
• Dry foods as well as fresh produce (fruits, vegetables, fresh breads and pastries) to be sold in a marketplace style setting!
During the Semana de Francia, Carrefour opened for one week only and was a HUGE success – with Casa de Campo villa owners, residents and visitors alike flocking through their doors to stock up on high quality goods which Carrefour imports (twice weekly) from France. Some of the most popular items soon to grace the shelves in Altos de Chavón are; fresh oysters, caviar, foie gras, freshly baked croissants and baguettes – and so much more!
