On Wednesday July 16th, Jorien van der Meij and Viktorija Seijas, creators of Boutique de Bordado, a personalised embroidery service here in Casa de Campo and La Romana, hosted a fabulous tea party!
The friendly gathering hosted at Jorien’s home in the Casa de Campo neighborhood of El Polo, was attended by Casa de Campo villa managers, real estate agents, architects and decorators, invited so that they can get to know Jorien van der Meij and Viktorija Seijas, as well as Boutique de Bordado and the products and services they offer.
With a guest room set up to showcase their products, guests could admire personalized towels, bedsheets, robes, placemats, wash bags, cushions, napkins, cushions and more. It was the perfect way to give us an idea of what exactly Boutique de Bordado does, and to also get us thinking about what in our own homes we might like to get personalized! Personally, I’m dreaming about towels for Philip and I…
Meanwhile in the central area was a table full of many of their other products, as well as clothes – a reminder that Boutique de Bordado doesn’t just do home ware items, but they also embroider clothing, such as T-Shirts and caps – perfect for uniforms!
“Boutique de Bordado provides the highest quality and variety of embroidery services in the eastern region of Dominican Republic,” said Jorien van der Meij and Viktorija Seijas, when describing what they do. “We embroider everything that is possible. Whether you want to personalize your house or boat details, you are looking for a personalized gift or you need to have your company’s shirts embroidered for your employees – we will do it for you. We help the client to choose the designs, fonts of letters and colors to keep the personal touch in creation of the product.”
As the afternoon progressed, we ladies enjoyed tea on the lawn, complete with cucumber sandwiches! If it hadn’t been so hot and sunny, I might almost have felt as if we were in a real tea party in England!
