tequenos_pickadeli_gourmetBack in July of this year, the amazing tequeños of Andrea and Adriana Feaugas first made an appearance on the Casa de Campo social scene at the Café de la Luau hosted by Ana Maria Strofer. A debut that was so successful it saw some Casa de Campo ladies eating as many as 12 in one sitting…

Since then “Pickadeli Gourmet” has been born! The creation of Andrea and Adriana Feaugas, Pickadeli Gourmet is a catering company that creates all kinds of different tequeños and this Friday they invite you to celebrate their official opening in La Romana.

Their new headquarters are very easy to find, above Cinco Gelato on Calle Restauración, so we hope to see you all there for a drink and 1, maybe 2, OK maybe 8 tequeños…

What are Tequeños?

Tequeños are little bites of heaven – pastry filled with cheese. They are a Venezuelan speciality and at Pickadeli Gourmet, in addition to the traditional white flour and cheese version, they have also invented a number of popular variations, including plantain flour, pesto and even sweet “bites” for deserts.
