Attention golfers, if you’re not already practicing in one of our resort’s magnificent golf courses by Pete Dye, we recommend you get to it because the 35th Casa de Campo Open Golf Tournament is just two months away.
It’s been 35 years since the first tournament played in 1981, founded by the Casa de Campo Director of Golf, Gilles Gagnon. It has been one of the resorts most outstanding golf tournaments, attracting players from all over the world, who enjoy the unique beauty and challenge that the courses bring to the field.
The event will be held from September 14-18th, 2016. Arrival Day and practice round day is September 14th, along with a welcome dinner and cocktail. The three tournament rounds will be played from the 15-17th, closing with a dinner, dance and prize-giving ceremony Saturday evening. Departure day is September 18th, and as is tradition, Casa de Campo will be hosting the annual Caddy – Am tournament on the morning of the 18th on the Teeth of the Dog for all those who wish to participate.
This event is a 54 hole Individual Stroke Play competition using the Stableford scoring system. There will be both Net and Gross division per classification for both men and women. Amateur Prizes will be awarded in both Net and Gross winners per flight and a 1st. Place will be awarded in the senior categories. Note: you can only win one prize!

September 15th 7:30 am: Round 1 Teeth of the Dog and Dye Fore, Free Evening
September 16th 7:30 am: Round 2 Teeth of the Dog and Dye Fore, Free Evening
September 17th 7:30 am: Round 3 on Teeth of the Dog and Dye Fore; Awards Banquet at 7pm
September 18th 7:30 am: Caddie Amateur Scramble –Shotgun – Teeth of the Dog. Departure Day.
