The Barbossi Estate
Golf, horse riding, wine, olive oil, honey…The Barbossi Estate is an exceptional 1,300 hectare property nestling right at the heart of the Esterel Massif. Straddling the départements of the Var and the Alpes-Maritimes, this private property is the most extensive in the entire French Riviera region.
It is a unique site criss-crossed with over 100 km of tracks. The owner has retained its authentic, Provencal charm, breathing new life into it without spoiling it.
Various activities are on offer within this protected natural environment, such as horse riding and golf. There is also a vineyard and farm on the estate.
As part of Altos de Chavón’s 30th anniversary celebrations and the French Dominican Chamber of Commerce (CCDF) 25th anniversary, Casa de Campo and the CCDF, sponsored by the French Embassy in the Dominican Republic celebrated the “Semana de Francia” French Festival, an extraordinary 4 day event which converted Altos de Chavón into a typical “petite village Francaise” with numerous business and cultural activities from Thursday March 22nd to Sunday March 25th 2012!
