You’re invited! The Pujols Family Foundation will host a Charity Dinner for children and families in need

This post is also available in: Spanish

Any plans for tomorrow night? Why not join us for a cocktail and charity dinner event in aid of the Pujols Family Foundation? Albert Pujols, a fellow Casa de Campo villa owner and MLB player will be sharing with us the important work they are doing together for the local community of the Dominican Republic.

THE PUJOLS FAMILY FOUNDATION is a not-for-profit agency that exists to honor God and strengthen families through our works, deeds, and examples. Since beginning this foundation in 2005, they have sought to help those living with Down syndrome and to improve the health and quality of life for thousands of people living in poverty, in the bateys or slums, of the Dominican Republic through health care, mentorship and education.

“Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward them for what they have done” (Proverbs 19:17 NIV). Every day they live out their faith by helping to improve the standard of living and quality of life for impoverished people in the Dominican Republic through their outreach programs. They are currently serving entire communities of people in Batey Aleman, Batey de Las Pajas, Batey Alta Gracia, Batey Experimental, Batey Bienvenido, Batey Hondonado and Batey Palave in the Dominican Republic. “We did not choose Down syndrome. Down syndrome chose us.” As some of you might know, Albert and Deidre Pujols have a beautiful daughter with Down syndrome. Since this is so close to their hearts, this Foundation is dedicated to the love, care, and development of people with Down syndrome and their families. They aim to provide extraordinary experiences for people with disabilities and/or life-threatening illnesses.

By attending this dinner you will be helping the Pujols Family Foundation provide aid to those most in need in the Dominican Republic as well as learning more about everything they do.

If you haven’t bought your tickets yet – there is still time! Seating is limited, do it now!
