With a new month comes a new opportunity to get together for a terrific cause! Café de la Leche is back on April 13th, hosted by Amelia Pereyra in Buena Vista Norte. This will no doubt be a magnificent event and a wonderful way to continue the celebrations of Semana Santa (Easter Week, April 11th – 17th).

Amelia Pereyra is a longtime resident of Casa de Campo and an avid Hogar del Niño supporter and has even hosted some of the anniversary celebrations of this wonderful event in the past.

Café de La Leche December 2021

Café de la Leche events help raise supplies for the Hogar del Niño’s Crib Room; over 80% of their milk supply comes from these gatherings, so it’s really important that all the community keep attending! This celebration is slightly different than the rest, the Patronato Benéfico Oriental asks you to bring a contribution of RD$1,500 to buy toys for the Hogar del Niño’s Christmas celebration. Last year, the Café de la Leche celebrated its 20th anniversary and we hope it continues for many more years! It’s an excellent cause to join and support, and most of them are fun-themed parties perfect for shaking things up in Casa de Campo!

We really encourage you to join us and if you are a “regular” then please remember why you attend and don’t miss this next one! We’re looking forward to seeing you all for a fun afternoon and as always, men are welcome too!
