On March 8 at 7:30 p.m., artist Xavier Roselló unveiled his latest exhibition, Heartbeats, When Chavón Captures You, at the Altos de Chavón Regional Archaeological Museum.

Hailing from Barcelona, Roselló is renowned for infusing vitality into his canvases with intricate watercolor urban sketches. Through eighteen meticulously crafted artworks, he extends a heartfelt invitation for viewers to immerse themselves in the vibrant essence of Altos de Chavón.

“Since my first visit, I’ve been captivated by its energy, which I’ve channeled into my art,” said Roselló. His watercolor compositions vividly portray the charm of the artists’ village, highlighting its architectural allure, tropical luminosity, and natural textures.

Heartbeats, When Chavón Captures You, aims to actively engage visitors in Roselló’s artistic vision, showcasing his exceptional skill, unwavering passion, and keen observation. Throughout the exhibition, Roselló transcends current artistic trends to celebrate the genuine essence of human expression.

The exhibition will run until Sunday, April 7, and will be open Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Proceeds from the exhibition and associated activities support the social programs of the Patronato Benéfico Oriental, Inc. (PBO), fostering inclusivity, solidarity, and equal opportunities within vulnerable communities in La Romana.
