The charity organisation Atrévete, in conjunction with the Altos de Chavón School of Art and Design in Casa de Campo La Romana, have just launched the 1st annual video and photography contest ‘Ojo Green’ aimed at artists, photographers and videographers with the objective to promote a healthy respect for native species and ecology of the Dominican Republic.
Photography Contest “OJO GREEN”
Capture through the lens of a camera and the visual perspective of the individual, an image which resembles the need to preserve our environment, flora and fauna of the Dominican Republic. The 3 winners will be chosen by Atrévete and will be awarded to those who meet the conditions for creativity, originality and quality of work – giving special consideration to the presentations with the most votes.

The prizes of the photography contest are as follows:
1st Place: 1 scholarship to the Altos de Chavón School of Art and Design in Casa de Campo + 1 Samsung monitor
2nd Place: 1 scholarship to the Altos de Chavón School of Art and Design in Casa de Campo + 1 Samsung hard drive
3rd Place: 1 Samsung monitor
*Winners outside of the Dominican Republic are responsible for their own flight and board costs.
