Friday
• Unwind after your journey with a massage at the Casa de Campo Spa.
• Head to Latin Night at La Caña Restaurant & Lounge for dinner and dancing (live music every Friday and Saturday from 8pm – 11pm).
Saturday
• Indulge in a full Dominican breakfast at the Lago Grill – don’t miss the “Mangu” and the freshly brewed Dominican coffee. • Enjoy an early morning round of golf on the Teeth of the Dog or if you don’t golf, take a walk/golf cart ride along the oceanside holes.
• Head to Minitas Beach for a dip in the ocean followed by lunch on your sunlounger from the Beach Club by Le Cirque.
• A little before sunset (about 5pm) take your golf cart up to Altos de Chavón for a casual stroll through the cobbled streets, some unrivalled photo opportunities and unique Dominican souvenir shopping at the Jenny Polanco Project store.
• In the evening, enjoy dinner and drinks at the Marina Casa de Campo, a romantic starlit stroll up the “Paseo del Mar” and splurge on some high fashion purchases at any of the Marina’s boutique stores – we love Carmen Sol New York!
• If you’re in the party mood head back up to Altos de Chavón for late night dancing at Onno’s Bar.
Sunday
• Set sail! Take a 1/2 day boat ride to Catalina island, Saona island or Palmilla, the more adventur- ous could even try deep sea fishing. Alternatively, at Minitas Beach rent a kayak or paddle boat to explore the beautiful Casa de Campo coastline by sea.
Got even longer? Add these to your itinerary:
• Kayak on the Chavón river – look out for dolphins, egrets and the beautiful submerged palm trees!
• From Altos de Chavón take the footpath down to the Chavón river (near the Dye Fore Pro Shop).
• Hire a private cabaña (US$100) for a romantic dinner at the Beach Club by Le Cirque.
• Take a pottery class at the Emilio Robba work- shop (US$45 for adults and US$30 for kids – spe- cial rates for CDC villa owners available.)
• Tour Casa de Campo, Altos de Chavón and the Marina Casa de Campo by air – on a Heli-Tours excursion!
• Take a day trip to Bayahibe! Try stand up paddle boarding around the bay, followed by beers on the beach at el Cafecito de la cubana and explore the Parque Nacional del Este national park at Padre Nuestro.
• Get adventurous at “Canopy Cumayasa” where you can zipline, explore the countryside by buggy and soar to new heights on their crazy “cosmic pendulum”.
TIP
Whether or not you have 1 day, 1 week or much longer to enjoy Casa de Campo, be sure to check out the calendar of events and activities on pages 9 – 12 or online at www.todo.fm for the most complete and up-to-date events listing.
