A visit to the new spa in the Marina Casa de Campo

Did you know that the Casa de Campo Spa now has a new location at the Marina Casa de Campo? While the flagship location for the Casa de Campo Spa continues to be at the Casa de Campo Hotel, the new facility at the Marina Casa de Campo makes a great edition to their repertoire of services – especially for visiting sailors / fishermen, as well as Casa de Campo villa owners living in or near to the Marina Casa de Campo.

And so while we love the Casa de Campo Spa at the hotel, for the sake of research we recently gave the new spa a try, and were very pleasantly surprised. The tranquil essence of the Casa de Campo Spa has been completely replicated at the Marina, with everything from the chic white decor to the soft ambience music and even the aroma designed to give you the very best relaxation experience. And then the service is excellent, the massage therapists are very well trained, attentive and most importantly – good at giving massages. I decided to treat myself to my favorite Casa de Campo Spa massage – the Hot Stone Massage – and on this occasion it was just as good as ones I’ve enjoyed in the past at the hotel. If you’ve never had the Hot Stone massage I really recommend it, it’s essentially a good all body massage which incorporates the use of hot stones. Throughout the massage the masseuse alternates between massaging with the rocks and with her hands – after all there are some parts of our stressed out bodies that need that little extra needing! Being massaged with rocks and hands is heavenly, there is nothing quiet like the warm sensation of the rocks which leaves you feeling throughly massaged and completely relaxed! My partner in crime and fiancé, Philip Silvestri, opted for a Reflexology massage, which is a foot massage that uses different pressure points in your feet. He loved it. So in conclusion, thumbs up to the new Casa de Campo Spa in the Marina Casa de Campo. That said however, we do still prefer the Casa de Campo Spa at the Hotel. Why? Mainly because we love to use the Water Treatment Room (with sauna, steam and hot/cold plunge pools), which there isn’t at the Marina. But for anyone who wants a full spa experience just a short stroll away from the luxury of their own yacht… The new Casa de Campo Spa in the Marina Casa de Campo is perfect.
