Things are slowly going back to “normal” in Casa, and this includes a new edition of Café de la Leche next month… and this time with BINGO!
June is almost here, and after months of not being able to get together on one of our favorite gatherings, the Patronato Benéfico Oriental has decided to embrace our “new normal” and host a VIRTUAL BINGO on Saturday, June 6th at 5:00 pm, and to spice things up a bit everybody is invited to don their most creative face mask during the zoom meeting!
Café de la Leche events help raise supplies for the Hogar del Niño’s Crib Room, over 80% of their milk supply comes from these gatherings! It’s an excellent cause to join and support, and most of them are fun themed parties perfect to shake things up in Casa de Campo! Contributions will be different this time around, find below details on how to purchase your bingo cards!
We really encourage you to join us and if you are a “regular” then please remember why you attend and don’t miss this next one! We’re looking forward to seeing you all even if it’s via a virtual zoom call for a fun afternoon and as always, men are welcome too!
The Hogar del Niño is a children’s daycare and educational center for over 1500 children, located in La Romana town, just outside of Casa de Campo. Children from as young as just a few weeks old up to 18 years old are cared for and educated daily, from as early as 5:30am and staying as late as 7pm.
The organization also provides special schooling to over 75 hearing impaired and blind children, as well as a vocational school where over 235 students receive classes in different areas like: sewing; industrial preparation, installation and electrical maintenance; plumbing and management of computer office programs.
