Next week Casa de Campo will be hosting one of the most exciting golf tournaments of the year, the DR Open 2016 and it will take place in none other than the world renowned Teeth of the Dog golf course by Pete Dye!
The DR Open golf tournament, organized by the Dominican Federation of Golf (FEDOGOLF), will be the next stop for the PGA Tour Latinoamérica. This week they will play in Honduras. It will be the third consecutive time that Casa de Campo resort has hosted this professional golf tournament.
The DR Open Qualifier begins on Sunday May 8th at the Dye Fore. This is open to all, so if you wish to be one of the 10 players to participate in the Casa de Campo DR Open next week, don’t miss this opportunity. It is open to pros, amateurs, and anybody wishing to try. Simply show up at the Dye Fore’s 19th hole and pay the fee in cash (US dollars). The Top 10 will be able to play in the DR Open this year. A week full of golf activities is ahead! Even if you don’t play you can still watch! Casa de Campo villa owners and visitors are of course welcome to come out and view the game; the resort will also allow access to visitors who just need to show a valid form of photo ID to enter. All Casa de Campo villa owners and residents are welcomed to come and watch any of the tournament rounds. Throughout the contest, volunteers will be on the Teeth of the Dog directing and helping people who wish to watch. Instructions and rules from the PGA will be enforced.
