Last Friday, March 26th Casa de Campo Resort & Villas hosted a fun soiree at the world-class Golf Learning Center. Casa de Campo invited its residents and owners to learn more about the avant-garde installation and test the two interior impact areas equipped with Trackman technology. This incredible state-of-the-art machine tracks everything you need to know about your ball flight and also has a video feature where you can take a look at your swing with the 4 built-in cameras.
The TrackMan 4 is a duel radar Launch Monitor. The monitor tracks the full trajectory of any shot, from 6-foot pitches to 400-yard drives, pinpointing the landing position with an accuracy of less than 1 foot at 100 yards. It also displays the shot’s 3D trajectory together with 26 impact and ball flight parameters in real-time (data is delivered within 1 second). With TrackMan you can track smash factor, spin rate, launch angle, carry, club speed, dynamic loft, attack angle, club path, and face angle.
The Golf Learning Center will allow visiting golf pros to create custom Stay, Play, and Learn packages that fit their clients’ needs. Golfers can train and receive lessons, club fittings, and repairs. Head Instructor Eric Lillibridge whose been with the resort for the past ten years says “The Golf Learning Center is an environment that was created to make people more knowledgeable, not only about golf but about their individual overall game. The incredible technology of TrackMan encourages people to learn and get better and most importantly, enjoy this wonderful game of golf even more. Trackman can be fun as well by playing virtual golf or contests such and long drives or closest to the hole. There are many advantages to using Trackman; if you haven’t experienced TrackMan you MUST!!”
The indoor training center also beats the heat and prevents cancelations due to bad weather, plus it also allows us to take shelter from the strong UV Rays from the sun. For golf lessons, players can expect to work with top-of-the-line performance equipment like Pro V1 golf balls. As Eric said, it is a must-try!
