Breaking news! According to weather.com and the National Hurricane Center, Tropical Depression #7 has just formed in the Atlantic Ocean and although it really is far to early to tell – it is currently predicted to become Tropical Storm Gordon, which could be affecting the Eastern coast of the Dominican Republic by Monday.
As this really is “breaking news” there isn’t much to say about “Tropical Depression #7” (yet), but here is all we know thus far:
• Tropical Depression #7 is located to the East of the Lesser Antilles
• Tropical Depression #7 has maximum sustained winds of 35mph
• Tropical Depression #7 is moving at a speed of 20mph West
• Tropical Depression #7 is currently predicted to develop into Tropical Storm Gordon by tomorrow (Friday afternoon)
• IF this Tropical Cyclone forms into Tropical Storm Gordon he is expected to gather strength as he moves across the Less Antilles and South of Puerto Rico, before passing to the South of the Dominican Republic by Monday.
