Great news my friends! In case you haven’t  already noticed, Tropical Depression #7, originally predicted to become Tropical Storm Gordon with a projected path for the Dominican Republic, dissipated into nothing more sinister than a “Tropical Wave” on Saturday morning (August 11th) and is now passing by to the South of the Dominican Republic.

So what does this mean for us in Casa de Campo / La Romana?

This means that as soon as the tail end of this Tropical Wave has passed us by, it will be back to the beautiful blue sunny skies which we love!

Anything else on the horizon?

NOPE! Woohoo! For now there seems to be nothing much lurking our there in the Atlantic ocean – so for the next week at least we can (hopefully) expect nothing but long hot sunny days (maybe with the occasion thunderstorm).

Nothing much on the horizon!

Enjoy the sun!
