Have you tried brunch at La Morela?

This post is also available in: Spanish

Brunch_La MorelaLa Morela, Casa de Campo’s newest and hippest addition to dining in the Marina Casa de Campo is daring to do something different. Their “pop food” concept is a finely honed combination of popular dishes, hence the name “pop”… that can’t be neatly boxed into any one cuisine, except perhaps that of “good food”!

So have you tried their Brunch? La Morela offers Brunch every Sunday from 11am to 4pm, and it’s awesome. After all, where better to relax or recover on a Sunday morning / afternoon than in the chic Plaza Portofino of the Marina Casa de Campo?

The menu is different, delicious and offers plenty of light and healthy options. You can choose between Fruit Salad (RD$350), gluten-free pancakes (RD$450),  Quiche of the Forest (RD$480), eggs in a variety of ways, and much more.

To start the perfect brunch, we recommend you take it easy with a cup of tea or coffee. Both are served with a delicious cookie to whet your appetite, so you can take your time and pursue the options, while you soak in the relaxed Sunday atmosphere at the Marina Casa de Campo.

From there, with La Morela already proven to serve consistently good food, there is no doubt that with whatever you order you can’t go wrong. Our favorite, however, is the Huevos Rancheros (RD$385), Mexican-style breakfast eggs. They’re fresh, light and flavorful.

A good option to finish or indeed start your Brunch at La Morela, is the “Morela Pick-Me-Up” (RD$295), a pink colored champagne cocktail, which the ladies love.

We’ve still got plenty more Sunday Brunches to look forward to at La Morela, but here are a few pics from our most recent visit:
