Altos de Chavon

Touching up the ancient ruines

This post is also available in: Spanish

Every thousand years or so, the elders of the great nation of Altos de Chavon decide to add a little color to the stones of the village, this years color – salmon.

Ok, so everyone knows (or should know) that Altos de Chavon is just over the 30 year-old mark. Its not by any means ancient, and like any place, it needs a little tending to from time to time. Today we caught them in the act of giving Altos a little touch up here and there. Given the hundreds of people trampling all over every morning, its a wonder we’ve not seen this happen more often.

Don’t know if this counts as news really, so you tell us. Does this kind of news interest you in the least? We would really appreciate it if you let us know. Just click on the comments link and tell us. Please. Pretty please. Gracias!
