There are many wonderful activities to enjoy with an active toddler in Casa de Campo. Here are our top 10!
1. Play on the beach.
You can splash in the waves and build sand castles and there is also a playground complete with slides and a toddler climbing wall.
2. Visit the ponies at the Dude Ranch
Animal lovers will have a great time at the Dude Ranch visiting the horses and donkeys – ask if your toddler can feed a horse an apple! More adventurous toddlers can take a 30 minute pony ride for US$24.
3. Run riot at the polo fields
The Polo fields are a great place to kick a ball around or fly a kite.
4. Play in the pool
Take a dip in the kids pool in the main hotel area – little ones love that they can run around the entire pool on their own and you can order snacks from La Caña restaurant from 11am to 6pm. Of course kids love playing in all pools, so anywhere will do really!

5. Walk the labyrinth
The “labyrinth” in the Casa de Campo spa is a fun place for a toddler to walk around. You can follow the patterns and pretend it’s a maze.
6. Explore Altos de Chavon
Just walking around the cobblestone streets is fun, especially all of the flower covered walkways and Margarito the donkey is always around and happy to take a toddler for a ride.
7. And visit the museums!
The Altos de Chavon Regional Museum of Archeology is a great place to visit, there’s a fun Taino Indian hut in the garden and be sure to inquire about their children’s cultural activities – everything from painting to ceramics can be arranged.
Also in Altos de Chavon is the Choco Museum and the Amber and Larimar museum, click here to read more about Altos de Chavon’s museums.
8. Take a golf cart ride
Riding around in a golf cart is fun for everyone! Just make sure your toddler is firmly secured on the lap of a person who isn’t driving.

9. Flower picking
Casa de Campo is always blooming with all kinds of pretty flowers, so flower picking is a fun activity. You can also spot the wildlife; butterflies, birds, caterpillars, lizards and more.

10. Relax and let “Toddlers ‘n Casa” help out!
When you need a break to sip a cocktail on the beach, Casa de Campo has a great toddler program and babysitters for when you want a night out. Call them on … 809-523-3333 – Ext.:3505
