Last Wednesday, June 10th, the ladies from Boutique de Bordado inaugurated their new store on the Calle Dr. Gonzalvo 15B in La Romana, and it was a total success!
The store welcomed over 50 people who came by to toast with the owners, Viktorija Seijas y Jorien van der Meij. “We are happy to have such loyal clients that came to celebrate this special moment with us” the two ladies told Casa de Campo Living, adding that they’re “…so happy to have officially opened our store where everybody can stop by to search for a gift or personal items for their friends, family and home”.
The new store is strategically located just around the corner from Jumbo, given that many members of the Casa de Campo community drive to town to do their grocery shopping there every week. Their clients will have the opportunity to acquire the best embroidered items from Casa de Campo just a corner away from the popular supermarket. “We chose the location of our store carefully and found that it would be best to have a store in town, so as to harness a bigger connection with the local community”, said Jorien.
In addition to a toast, they also held a raffle with prizes of US$50, US$30 and US$20 to be used for the purchase of their articles. Ana Santoni, Fernando Flaquer and Adriana Fueagus were the lucky winners. Congratulations!
We hope that anyone who wasn’t able to make it to the inauguration has a chance to stop by the store to check out all the special gifts and discounts available. They bring many things from their home countries, Holland and Lithuania, but also work with local craftsmen with who they design together beautiful and unique pieces that cannot be found anywhere else.
