On Sunday, December 5th, Casa de Campo and Altos de Chavón invite you to celebrate the official start of the holiday season with the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and even a Christmas concert – this year the ceremony will once again take place in the Altos de Chavón amphitheater and live-streamed for everybody that is not able to be here with us on this special occasion!
That same day, starting at 6:00 pm, little ones will be able to once again visit Santa’s Caribbean home! To enter they will receive a Magic Pass when they donate a new toy or cash to benefit the kids of the Hogar del Niño and Fundación MIR. Once inside Santa’s house, they can personally bring in their letters and talk to Santa about what they want for Christmas. It’s a wonderful way to teach our kids the importance of giving to those who need it the most. We hope that you’ve all been good this year!
At 7:30 pm the Christmas Lighting Ceremony begins by lighting the Christmas tree, marking the start of this joy-filled holiday in Casa de Campo. Following the ceremony, a Christmas concert with the Batuta chamber orchestra, directed by Juan Pablo Polanco will take place with traditional Christmas carols. This, mind you, is only the beginning of all the fun this season! With a variety of holiday events throughout this month, there is definitely something for everyone – stay tuned, as we will be posting the complete calendar of activities soon!
What better way to celebrate the start of the magical holiday season than on the cobbled streets of Altos de Chavón? Join us for a night filled with magic and happiness for all the family! Lights adorn the St. Stanislaus Church from rooftop to bell tower, and down to the cobblestone path. Reds, greens, purples, and blues make their way through the radiant night to alight your youthful energy and holiday cheer.
