Thanksgiving may not be a Dominican tradition and it is certainly not a Dominican holiday (meaning we don’t get a day off) BUT, Thanksgiving is still celebrated in the Dominican Republic – by many people and in many different ways!

Whilst this week’s Best Turkey competition will prep our bellies for Thanksgiving, the real deal holiday is coming up this Thursday, November 28th! We all love a good meal and there’s no better time of the year to indulge in scrumptious goodies than in this harvest festival that is a 400-year-old tradition. Surround yourself with your loved ones next week and partake in Casa de Campo’s dinner specials at any of their restaurants and have a thoroughly good time.

Those of you who’d prefer to host a family and friends get-together in your home can easily take care of dinner arrangements with Casa de Campo’s Thanksgiving Catering service. Choose from a Traditional or Dominican inspired, the latter of which includes turkey with mofongo stuffing, brussels sprouts, and a delicious green bean salad with garlic confit and roasted almonds. Dessert includes a choice of pecan pie, apple tart, or pumpkin cheesecake.

Prep your Thanksgiving plans in advance!
