Hogar del Niño Weekend is THIS week! Soon we will have a chance to enjoy with friends and family a fabulous day filled with activities on behalf of the children of Hogar del Niño. This is your opportunity to register for all the sports activities we have to look forward to in the coming days.
The 26th annual Hogar del Niño Weekend – The Silver Edition – a fundraising activity held to raise attention and aid for the Patronato Benéficio Oriental’s organization and schools, will take place on February 18th, it’s the perfect way to have a great time and be charitable! the activities include traditional golf and tennis tournaments, yoga, padel and pickleball, sip and paint, and we will end the day with a wonderful dinner party!
The Hogar del Niño is an educational and daycare center in La Romana – which cares for more than 1,500 children daily. More than that, it offers medical and dental care, special schooling to over 75 hearing-impaired and blind children, and vocational training for over 200 students.
In last year’s event, golf players met starting at 7:30 in the morning at La Romana Country Club, where after enjoying a delicious breakfast, and then left in groups of 4 players, every 10 minutes, according to their Tee Time resulting with Jaime Bonetti, Alejandro Zeller, Pablo Gómez and Antonio Pérez Hernández winning first place!
