sugar open 2010-teeth of the dog, casa de campo living Last week was an important week for golf in Casa de Campo – with the Sugar Open golf tournament being played between Wednesday the 7th of April through to Saturday the 10th of April. Saturday was the last day of the contest, with the men’s division playing on the Teeth of the Dog and the ladies playing on the Links. The first Tee-off time for the men was bright and early at 8.30am and the CasaLife and the Casa de Campo Living crew (me, Philip and our photographer Anselmo) were thrilled to be there that early to capture action! Our photographer Anselmo was certainly more keen than Philip and I – seemingly willing to risk death for a good photo… anselmo, casa de campo teeth of the dog - casa de campo living Here are my photos of the first few groups as they set off around the beautiful Teeth of the Dog golf course, in the gorgeous sunshine – when there was not a cloud in the sky! Unfortunately, for the second group of golfers who were scheduled to start after lunch rather a number of clouds appeared in the sky and just as the first afternoon group were about to begin, it started to rain. As the rain began many of the afternoon golfers had already arrived to eat lunch – so we were all forced to hide in the lunch tent until the rain slowed enough to resume play. It was certainly cosy in that tent! teeth of the dog, casa de campo in the rain!
