This Christmas season, the Fundacion MIR, with the Politecnico MIR Esperanza School (for boys) and the Politecnico Fundacion MIR School (for girls) invite you to enjoy a magical Christmas presentation in Altos de Chavón. The ‘Nacimiento Viviente’ or the traditional ‘Nativity play,’ will be held on Tuesday the 27th of December at 4:30pm.

The Nacimiento Viviente by the Fundación MIR is an annual tradition in Altos de Chavón – one which brings the true Christmas spirit to Altos de Chavón and gives the children of the Fundación MIR schools the opportunity to showcase their many talents!
During this event the Fundación MIR’s little ones will perform the traditional christmas story, animated with traditional Christmas Carols. The show will be held in the main Plaza at Altos de Chavón, (in front of the St. Stanislaus Church).

The Fundacion MIR is a non-profit organization which works to provide education to the children of the greater La Romana area, who are most in need. They run 3 schools; the MIR Esperanza (boys vocational school), the Escuela Tecnica Vocacional Fundacion MIR (girls vocational school) and the Primaria MIR (infants school).
