The Módulo Anexo Materno Infantil (MAMI) celebrates its achievements during the past five years that the center has offerring services in the community of La Romana.
In 2008 the MAMI opened, offering specialized services for adolescents, including prenatal care, birth control, gynecology, a medical consultation for males and severals sex education programs in schools and the community. Recently ventures with pediatric offices to support the babies of teenage mothers.
As part of this celebration they gave special recognition to the entire team that started the MAMI, with the participation of Dr. Leonardo Feliz, Director of Francisco A. Gonzalvo Hospital, among others. Special recognition was given via skype to Sarah Rives, for being part of the establishment and development of the center.
The MAMI is a collaboration between the Francisco A. Gonzalvo Hospital and Family Clinic of La Romana. It is located on Avenida Gregorio Luperón, Villa España, (809) 550-8001.
