In February this year, the Marina Casa de Campo was present for first time at the 13th Azimut-Benetti Yachtmaster- in Livorno, Italy, one of the most important events in the international nautical industry.

The event gathered captains from the most important nautical brands in the world: Azimut, Benetti, Lusben and Fraser Yachts, for 3 days filled with informative seminars, technical presentations, as well as course many social gatherings.

Forming part of the team representing the Marina Casa de Campo was Mauro Caslini, President and CEO of IB Nautica and his daughter Alice Caslini de Moriconi, Owner and Director of Sales and Marketing at IBI Yachts, who took part in the schedule of activities to present all the fabulous Marina Casa de Campo has to offer. With such excellent facilities and so much to see and do in Casa de Campo – and represented by such excellent ambassadors as Mauro and Alice – there can be no doubt that the Marina Casa de Campo will soon be getting many more visitors!

megayacht

Day one of the invitation-only event began with a tour around the Livorno shipyard, giving the group a chance to see some of the 13 projects active around the yard, including an impressive 90m megayacht that is under construction and due for delivery in 2015.

This year marks the Italian yachtbuilder’s 140th anniversary, an undeniably impressive milestone, but when addressing the collection of guests, Benetti CEO Vincenzo Poerio emphasised that the goal for the group is to strive to improve by “perfecting their quality, service and aftercare through building long-lasting relationships with the end users – the owners” – something that he said would be enabled by working with the captains.

“We are here not only to show what we have done over the years,” he explained. “But also to share your worries, criticisms and thoughts on how we can improve to be better and better”, he added.
