Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the “Yachting Capital of the World” hosted the 52nd Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show on from the 27th to the 31st of October 2011 and the Marina Casa de Campo along with the IBC shipyard were there taking part!
This year’s show exhibited a range of nautical crafts, ranging from yacht builders, shipyards and marinas to exotic cars and brokerage yachts. A wide variety of boats and sea vessels were on display including runabouts, sportfishers, high performance boats, center consoles, cabin cruisers, flats boats, skiffs, express cruisers, sailing yachts, motor yachts, bowriders, catamarans, ski boats, jet boats, trawlers, inflatables, canoes, and extraordinary superyachts.
For the first time, IBC shipyard and the Marina Casa de Campo, participated together in the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, one of the most important events of the nautical industry. The IBC shipyard, based in the Marina Casa de Campo is the only shipyard in the Dominicana Republic specialized in services for yachts and superyachts, established and operating professionally for more than 10 years.

The IBC Shipyard and the Marina Casa de Campo’s participation in this event was a great success, with many people passing by their stand to learn about IBC’s specialist services, as well as to admire the impressive Marina Casa de Campo. With such an excellent representation we are sure to see some of these people bringing their yachts and superyachts to play in Casa de Campo!

Marina Casa de Campo and IBC shipyard marked their presence in the show by inviting potential clients and important nautical press representatives to enjoy an “Atardecer Latino”, a cocktail party with live “Jazz Latino” music by Javier Soto (Latin Grammy nominee 2009-2010).
