The Latino Baseball Hall of Fame “Grand Exaltation Ceremony” at the Altos de Chavón Amphitheatre: Sat. Feb 11th!

As part of the 3rd annual celebratory week that marks the 2012 exaltations to the Latino Baseball Hall of Fame in Casa de Campo and La Romana, the “Grand Exaltation Ceremony” will be taking place at the Altos de Chavón amphitheater on Saturday evening the 11th of February, and you are cordially invited to join the celebration!

Whilst there are some events which are not open to everyone, the celebrations include some of activities which everyone is cordially invited to enjoy – and the 3rd “Grand Exaltation Ceremony” on Saturday the 11th of February at 8pm in the Altos de Chavón amphitheater is one of them!

During the 3rd annual “Grand Exaltation Ceremony”, 12 baseball players will be exalted to the Latino Baseball Hall of fame:

  • Tony Oliva and Ramón Bragaña – Cuba
  • Aurelio Rodriguez and Angel Castro – Mexico
  • Bengamín Oglivie and Pat Scantlebury – Panama
  • Bernie Williams and Luis Tite Arroyo – Puerto Rico
  • Tony Peña, Diomedes Guayubín Olivo – Dominican Republic
  • Manny Trillo and Alejandro Patón Carrasquel – Venezuela
Another activity is also open to all members of Casa de Campo and La Romana communites is the “Paseo de los Inmortales”, the immortalization ceremony of those players exalted in 2011 which will take place at the central park in La Romana town.
