It’s the most wonderful time of the year! And to start the Holiday celebrations, Xiomara Menendez hosted the Christmas Café de la Leche at her beautiful oceanfront Casa de Campo villa in Bahia Minitas.

Whilst admiring the Christmas decorations and the amazing sea view, Casa de Campo’s ladies enjoyed real home-made egg nogg, sangria and Christmas nibbles.Xiomara’s Christmas Village
More than 2 weeks work, Xiomara’s handcrafted Christmas village is made up of miniatures, collected on her many travels – a new one for every new country she visits. Every year Xiomara recreates the village using cotton wool for the snow and positioning each one of the houses, figurines, trees and fences by hand to create something which would not be out of place in Disney world.

The Cafe de la Leche is a monthly charity event to gather milk for the more than 200 babies cared for daily at the Hogar del Niño, but at the Christmas Café de la Leche the ladies who attend are asked to donated chocolate and candies instead of milk – for the Hogar del Niño’s Christmas party! This year with well over 100 ladies at the event, enough candy was donated to fill a Santa’s Sleigh! There will be a lot of very happy children at the Hogar del Niño this Christmas!
Many congratulations and thanks to Xiomara for hosting such a wonderful event and for such a great cause!Merry Christmas everyone!
