This year’s Hogar del Niño Weekend was a huge success! If you didn’t get a chance to attend the events, check out all of our coverage articles here! One of the many activities within this year’s 20th edition of the annual fundraising weekend was a concert by the group Enclave. We’re flashing back to their Friday night event that had everybody dancing!

The event took place in the Yacht Club at the Marina, Casa de Campo. This concert was the first of this year’s events and the beginning of the celebratory weekend. There was a table set up with delicious hors d’oeuvres such as croquettes, mini-dishes of ceviche, empanadas, potato salad and more.

The stage was set up inside the club next to the glass doors that offered a picturesque view of the Marina. A saxophone player entertained the public whilst we waited for the group Enclave to begin. We saw many of the Hogar del Niño’s longtime supports and some new faces mingling throughout the night. Enclave’s catchy merengue tunes had many enjoying the evening music while seated, and little by little, groups came up to the dancefloor. By the end of the night, everyone was on their feet dancing to the beats of merengue.

Thank you, Hogar del Niño for including this event in your program; it set the tone for an amazing weekend!
