The Hogar del Niño Polo Final: una copa de polo con una copa de vino….

UPDATE: Due to rain, the polo tournaments have been suspended BUT the party in the tent will still take place….rain or shine!! We look forward to seeing you there!

Tomorrow, Friday the 18th of February the Hogar del Niño fundraising weekend begins with a tour of the Hogar del Niño (click here for more info), a homes and gardens tour round Casa de Campo’s most gorgeous villas (click here for more info), and the final of the Hogar del Niño Polo Tournament, which will end with a little bit of a party…..

The Hogar del Niño Polo Tournament has been being played out between Casa de Campo’s best polo players on the Casa de Campo polo fields over the last few weeks and now following many a vicious game we can announce that the teams playing in the final will be:

Final of the 2-6 goal league: Central Romana vs La Carbuccia

Final of the 10-14 goal league: Pitirri/Guero vs Casa de Campo

The first final between Central Romana and La Carbuccia will take place on polo field # 2 at 3:00pm and the second final between Pitirri/Guero and Casa de Campo will take place on polo field #3 at 4:30pm.

Spectators are welcome and are encouraged!! As well as the opportunity to watch some very exciting polo, there will be a tent with drinks and music, where spectators and supporters can socialise with friends, meet new people and have a good time! At the end of the polo matches there will be a prize-giving ceremony for the winning teams and the party will continue with a few more drinks and maybe even some dancing….

It’s totally free to come, watch and enjoy the party – polo ‘parties’ are also great fun with a chilled relaxed atmosphere, so we hope to see you there!
