Saturday August the 14th, was the Fundacion MIR Family Weekend for Life, with tennis and golf tournaments and the Dancing for Life dinner, dance and awards giving ceremony in the evening and to end it all was the After Party – a fantastic disco with DJ Gringo!
The After-Party with DJ Gringo was the absolute perfect way to end such a fantastically successful and fun day and the ideal continuation of a wonderful night of fun under the stars which began with a welcome cocktail, dinner, casino, dancing and awards ceremony at the Dancing for Life event on Playa Minitas.
MIR FACT: This September, the MIR schools are opening their first Kindergarten and 1st grade classrooms
It was certainly a good night for dancing!!
As the evening progressed and the dinner drew to a close the hundreds of guests at the Dancing For Life dinner drifted from their dining tables on the beach, to the Faux-Casino, provided by the Casino Diamante Dominicus Bayahibe and to the After Party with DJ Gringo which was raving inside the Beach Club by Le Cirque restaurant. The restaurant having been cleared of it’s usual dining tables was a great location for the party – with drinks flowing freely from the Ron Atlantico and the Grey Goose bars, and sun beds and chairs set up around the dance floor.
As always with DJ Gringo on the decks, playing the latest and best mix of tunes that everyone loves the party continued until later than any of us can remember! Cheers!
