Following some confusion and a little panic yesterday, which meant we had to remove yesterday’s article about the Casino, so that their involvement in the event could be re-confirmed (I was under the impression it was confirmed.) So now we can say with 100% certainty that the Casino Diamante Dominicus-Bayahibe will be participating in the up-coming Fundacion MIR Family Weekend for Life on Saturday the 14th of August.
The casino games will be at the ‘Dancing for Life’ awards dinner being presented by Tiffany & Co. which is this year being held at Casa de Campo’s beautiful Playa Minitas. Although we don’t have too much information, we do know that the casino will be bringing tables to play Chemin de Fer and poker as well as slot machines! I find the idea of slot machines very exciting – they will certainly add to the atmosphere and I just know I’ll enjoy losing my money in them! I’m also hoping that there will be Black Jack tables, although I don’t know!
The inclusion of the casino will give this year’s event an added touch of glitz, glamour and fun – I am certainly looking forward to trying my hand at a little poker! Let’s hope Lady Luck is on my side!
Entrance into the casino area is included in the ticket price for the ‘Dancing for Life’ awards dinner.
