The Casa de Campo Junior Tennis Academy is about to start! While your kids are back in school, they’re still itching for some outdoor recreation and after-school activities are a must. Let them burn a few calories and rowdy energy at Casa de Campo’s Junior Tennis Academy where they’ll gain lifelong skill sets.

Apart from tennis being a great way for kids to learn teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence, it also has a number of health benefits:

  • Promotes bone strength
  • Increases aerobic capacities and reaction times
  • Lowers resting heart rate and body fat
  • Improves strength, flexibility, and balance
  • Develops hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills

Like many sports, tennis helps kids work up a sweat, but it also is a mental game, where accuracy and hitting the ball at precise angles develop mental strength and strategy. Plus, it has a complicated scoring system compared to basketball and requires staying sharp and exerting a solid memory. In Junior competitions, there isn’t an umpire so tennis also teaches children to practice honesty as they’re the ones calling their opponents balls in or out. As a social sport, it widens friend circles, enhances communication and team skills, and promotes a positive, friendly attitude through hard work that is essential on and off the courts!

The Casa de Campo Junior Tennis Academy has great group lesson options for children and with the expert instruction of the staff of the La Terraza Tennis Club, here’s your kid’s chance to learn or even improve their game. The academy is designed to train children from 5 years and up, offering programs of different levels, which will encourage the student to learn and improve in an e ffecient way and according to their abilities; developing the love of physical activity, health, and tennis. The monthly rate is US$90 tax included, with classes 2 times a week.

So what are you waiting for? Call or visit the La Terraza Tennis Club and enroll your kids!
