The 3rd annual Buen Samaritano golf tournament, which was scheduled to be played on Casa de Campo’s Dye Fore golf course on Saturday May the 5th has been postponed and will now be played on Saturday June the 16th on Casa de Campo’s newly renovated Links golf course.
The “Buen Samaritano” is a hospital located in La Romana town, which has been providing essential healthcare services for people of the greater La Romana community for more than 15 years and hosts this annual golf tournament as part of their annual fundraising efforts. The 2-level hospital, which will soon have 3 levels, provides medical services based on 21 specialties, including pediatrics, gynecology, pulmonology, as well as modern facilities for their patients, such as the OTIS elevator for those who are physically limited or have experienced a surgery.
Last year the Buen Samaritano Golf Tournament, played on Casa de Campo’s most famous golf course; The Teeth of the Dog was a huge success with Casa de Campo villa owners, residents and visitors enjoying a wonderful and friendly tournament, whilst also raising money for this wonderful cause.

Following the tournament there will be a prize-giving and celebration with food, music and dancing held at the Club de Caza y Pesca in La Romana.
The “Buen Samaritano” Foundation and General Hospital is a non profit institution which, since 1997, thanks to doctors and volunteers from abroad, has developed a wonderful program to provide health and education to many children and women in the La Romana area.
