As the Caribbean’s most complete resort and Leading Golf Resort, many golf tournaments and events take place here in Casa de Campo – most recently the ASIEX (Dominican Association for Foreign Investment) which was played on the beautiful Dye Fore golf course. 100 golfers from all over the Dominican Republic; Casa de Campo, Santo Domingo and even Punta Cana too part in the 17th annual ASIEX golf tournament here in Casa de Campo and despite gloomy predictions of rain the players enjoyed a beautiful sunny day and excellent golfing conditions. The golf tournament was played in a Scramble format with 25% of the handicap and began at 8:30 am with the words of Marco de la Rosa, President of ASIEX who said he “wished everyone a good game and thank you on behalf of our institution supported by partners and sponsors. ”

Also involved in the welcome ceremony was ASIEX Executive Director, Mr. Salvador Demallistre, who said his own words of welcome, following which Mr. De la Rosa made the putt of honor which signified the official start of the tournament. The overall winners of the tournament were Jabbar Singh and Raimundo Perello, who tied with Carlos and Ramon Santelises Star with the best overall score – with the winners being decided by the players score cards.
