The Buen Samaritano (Good Samaritan) third annual charity golf tournament will be played this year on Saturday June 15th and it’s time for you to sign up to play in this great, fun event, which also benefits a great cause!
This year the tournament being played on the Teeth of the Dog is being sponsored by Silgon Inc., Marketing, Web Development & Publishing Services with Casa de Campo Living news and events website, as well as the Central Romana Corporation, amongst others.

It is for that reason that our comprehensive health program distributes vitamins to all children aged up to 5 years living in 52 bateys in the La Romana area. We also provide free medical care and surgery within and even outside the country if necessary.

The Good Samaritan General Hospital Foundation in La Romana has been working hard to provide essential healthcare services to the most needy people of La Romana and its surrounding areas and the funds raised with this golf tournament will be used to assist poor children who need physical rehabilitation therapies, nutrition programs, medicines, hospitalizations, laboratory studies and surgical procedures abroad to correct serious heart conditions.

Following the tournament there will be a prize-giving and celebration with dinner, music and dancing held at the Club de Caza y Pesca in La Romana.
About the Buen Samaritano Hospital Foundation
Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation is a non-profit institution that has been providing assistance to the needy for more than 15 years. The organization is focused on supporting the development of programs and activities targeting the neediest in the Dominican Republic.
Their programs include: Malnutrition and Food Control for malnourished children and patients with HIV or Tuberculosis, Women’s Health, Bio-Sand Filters for clean drinking water in the Bateyes (in collaboration with Rotary Club International), HIV / AIDS Detection and Prevention Program, Integral Health and social care for children, Mobile Medical clinics in the Bateys and neighborhoods of La Romana, and Medical Surgical Operations (Salpingoscopy, General and Reconstructive Surgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Dentistry, Ophthalmology, Pediatric Urology, Arteriovenous fistula, harelip, etc.).
It was another blisteringly hot day on Saturday the 16th of June 2012, when the 93 golfers of the 3rd Buen Samaritano golf tournament stepped out on Casa de Campo’s newly renovated Links golf course for a friendly yet competitive round of golf.
On Saturday June 16th 2012, 93 generous golf players took part in the 3rd annual Buen Samaritano Golf Tournament, held on the Links golf course in Casa de Campo, which was later celebrated with a fun and exciting prize-giving ceremony and dinner at the Club Caza y Pesca located in Buena Vista, La Romana!
