Emilia and J.Pepe Fanjul cordially invite you to the 20th annual Cartier Benefit Cocktail and Dinner, on Thursday December the 29th, at Casa Grande in Casa de Campo, held in aid of the Fundación MIR and the Hogar del Niño.

This glamorous occasion is the only yearly event which raises money to benefit both the Fundación MIR and the Hogar del Niño charities equally and as of last year has raised over 1 million dollars for each cause – that’s a total benefit of more than 2million dollars! The event, which this year is celebrating it’s 20th anniversary is expected to raise even more funds to help these outstanding charities continue caring for and educating the women and children of the greater La Romana area.

The Cartier Benefit is elegantly divided into 2 separate occasions; the Cartier Cocktail and the Dinner – Dance, which are both celebrated at the Fanjul’s Casa de Campo estate, Casa Grande.

The Cartier Cocktail

The Cartier cocktail, hosted by Mrs. Pepe Fanjul and Cartier begins at 6:30pm and ends at 9pm, during which time guests will enjoy a champagne cocktail, whilst taking part in a silent and live auction, as well as shopping at the Cartier Exhibition. Arguably the most thrilling part of the evening and the most beneficial for the charities is the live auction, which in this past has featured Pepe Fanjul himself as the auctioneer, with items such as a Cartier Love Bracelet (value: USD$4,300), a 10-day vacation in Italy (value: USD$25,000), a South American Cruise (value: USD$10,000) and a Teheran Rug from North Persia (value: USD$2,900).

Cost: USD$100 per person

When: Thursday December the 29th, 6:30pm – 9pm

The Dinner and Dance

Following the cocktail and live auction, dinner guests are invited to pass from the upper terrace, where the cocktail is held, to the lower garden area, which overlooks the ocean and the Fanjul’s private beach and bay, where the dinner is served. Following dinner, the celebration continues with live music and dancing. This portion of the evening is hosted by Emilia and Pepe Fanjul.
